Organ Pipe Cactus - Sonoran Desert Plant - 3D Lenticular Postcard Greeting Card
4x6 inches - In clear protective reusable sleeve
Optimum growing conditions exist within fifty miles of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona. This cactus likes rocky, Sonoran Desert hillsides up to 3,000 feet of elevation, for it is limited by freezing temperatures further north. Flowers appear in May and June, opening only at night. Lesser long-nosed bats perform most of the night pollination. The common name from its resemblance to a pipe organ.
