Sonoran Desert - 3D Postcard Greeting Card
4 x 6 Inches - In Protective Sleeve
The Sonoran Desert has a subtropical climate and receives 3 to 15 inches of rain each year, mostly during the monsoon season from July through September. Summer temperatures reaching 120 F make it a challenging place to live, but the vegetation of the Sonora is the most diverse of all North American deserts. In addition to the saguaro cactus, the signature plant of this desert, common species included barrel cactus, prickly pear, cholla, ocotillo and creosote.
